Rich, fruity and vibrant, Jura 12 Year Old Sherry Cask celebrates the shared passion and dedication of two cultures; united by a passion for their craft. Jura 12YO Sherry Cask is a classic, unpeated Jura, matured in American white oak ex bourbon barrels then finished in aged, hand-selected Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain, adding a distinctive flair to this lively single malt. Warm honey and vanilla evolve into rich plum, sweet spice and layers of citrus. This whisky finishes with rich flavours of sherry soaked raisins, dark toffee, coffee and grilled banana.
COLOUR Rich antique amber
NOSE Warm honey and vanilla to start, evolving to rich fruit and toffee. A perfect combination of rich brioche, apricot, chocolate and almond appear.
TASTE Richly dark, with sweet, ripe plum flavours lead to sweet spices that are enhanced by layers of citrus.
CASK FINISH Initially matured in American White Oak ex bourbon barrels, finished in aged, hand-selected Oloroso Sherry Casks from Jerez, Spain
