Slow-batch distilled for a perfect balance.
We've been taking things slow since 1838 because we know the more time you take to make a perfectly balanced Scotch the richer and smoother it is.
Our dual water source,the combination of Highland rain and pure spring water,takes its time to tumble down to the distillery where it is used in our long fermentation proses.We then slowly distil in small batches using only traditional copper pot stills for a spirit with a distinctively velvety and fruity flavour.
This 12 year old was then left to mature in mostly European oak cask until our Malt Master Maureen Robinson deems it ready for bottling.
The result is an award winning whisky with delicious berry fruit aromas,a creamy taste & warming finish.
