Chateau Cos d'Estournel Blanc, Bordeaux Blanc AOC 2022
Pale greenish yellow in color. Aromas are of blackcurrant leaf, & nettles with underlying passionfruit. Acidity is balanced & the alcohol also seems in balance. A core of passionfruit flavors is overlaid by delicate blackcurrant-leaf notes. The pungent fruit on the mid-palate is almost catty but it settles, becoming juicy, it is of mid-weight. The wine finishes soft textured with a depth of minerality overlaying its blackcurrant-leaf & passionfruit core.
